Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – A.J. Ellis lined the game-winning bases- loaded single in the bottom of the 11th inning, lifting the Dodgers to a 7-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies.
The Rockies wasted a chance with the bases full in the 11th when George Sherrill fanned Carlos Gonzalez. Colorado ended the day 1 1/2 games behind NL West-leading San Francisco. The Rockies are also a game behind San Diego. The Giants beat Milwaukee Sunday, while the Padres lost in St. Louis.
Los Angeles, which rallied from a 6-1 deficit, snapped a four-game skid by taking the finale of the three-game set.
