Former Notre Dame wide receiver Shaquelle (Shaq) Evans enrolled at UCLA on Monday, according ESPN reporter Bruce Feldman.
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound sophomore from Inglewood, California, was irked by his position in the depth chart released by Kelly, which made his decision easier to transfer from South Bend.
Evans caught seven passes for 61 yards in 2009 for the Fighting Irish during an up-and-down season.
Evans was ranked as the 24th best receiver in the nation, according to Rivals.com, and 160th overall. At one point a strong USC-lean, Evans ultimately chose Notre Dame, a decision he apparently now regrets.
