LA Coliseum Announces Renovations: You Had Me At Nom Nom

Before the USC home opener on Saturday against Stanford, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum announced renovations that were done to the stadium. The field is new, all 107,000 square feet of it, there are 470 new waterless urinals, and a new video board was added to the west side of the press box. However, what caught my eye was this:

Additionally, at the northeast corner of the facility, adjacent to Gate 28, the Coliseum will debut an array of food trucks, three of which were featured prominently on the Food Network’s recent “Great Truck Race”. Among the offerings will be Nom Nom (Vietnamese), Rajun Cajun (Cajun), Ahn – Joo (Korean Fusion), Grille Cheese Sandwich, Don Choi Tacos, as well as Bonaparte Crepes.

Yes, the improved ingress and egress will make for a better experience at the Coliseum, and the improved sight lines will be cool, but I'm most excited most about being able to get Banh Mi sandwiches while watching USC football.
