Dodgers Extend Affiliation With Double A Chattanooga

The Dodgers have extended their affiliation agreement with the Double A Chattanooga Lookouts through the 2014 season, the club announced today. This season marks the Dodgers second year with their Double A franchise in Chattanooga.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with the Lookouts and extending the Dodgers brand of baseball to Chattanooga and the Southeast,” said Dodgers Assistant General Manager/Director of Player Development De Jon Watson, who has seen six Lookouts in the past two seasons make their major league debut. Jamie Hoffmann, Brent Leach, Travis Schlichting, and Kenley Jansen have all made their MLB debuts with the Dodgers, while Josh Bell and Victor Garate made their debuts after getting traded.

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with the Dodgers and proud of the trust the Dodgers have placed on us,” said Lookouts President and General Manager Frank Burke. The 2010 Lookouts are managed by Carlos Subero, and feature highly-rated Dodger prospects Dee Gordon, Jerry Sands, Chris Withrow, and Rubby De La Rosa, among others.
