There is good news for Clippers fans today, as Eric Gordon made the final cut for Team USA for the World Championships, which begin this weekend in Turkey.
↵The team had 13 players for its series of exhibition games this week, but Celtics guard Rajon Rondo was the final cut, as announced by chairman Jerry Colangelo today:
↵↵↵“Rajon came to us and said he was going to withdraw from the team, that he had some family matters to attend to and some things to take care of before the NBA season. He did an outstanding job during our training, we appreciate the effort and commitment he made to our program and he completely has our support," said Colangelo.

The 12-man roster features four players with Los Angeles ties: Gordon, Lamar Odom of the Lakers, and former Bruins Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook.
