Great to see Mike Magee back in the lineup. Todd Dunivant and Gregg Berhalter didn’t make the trip giving A.J. DeLaGarza another start and the Brazilian Leonardo his sixth start of the season, in place of Dunivant and Berhalter respectively.
From Fox Sports West's pregame interview with Landon Donovan:
Obviously when there's interest in you from abroad it makes it exciting. Everybody wants to be wanted, whether you're a teacher or a doctor or a lawyer if people want you that's good, that means your doing something right, and it's nice to feel that from people. I love playing in LA, I love being in LA. There's the competitive part of me that says shoot, going back to England and playing in that league would be really exciting too. At this point, there's nothing realistic to think about, so I know it's been a relatively quiet transfer period, outside of Manchester City. If it becomes a reality then I'm going to think about it seriously.
I think that's a very healthy and balanced view from our #10, and of course he should take any offseason offer seriously, but that doesn't change the Galaxy being his home team for as long as they can keep him.
