The Angels, in conjunction with Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc., will host the third annual “Angels For Animals” night Saturday at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
↵From 4pm through the second inning of tomorrow’s game with the Blue Jays, under the big red hats at the stadium entrance, the Angels’ Wives will sell $50 mystery bags containing a baseball signed by an Angels player or coach as well as $5 raffle tickets to win autographed items and pet-friendly baskets courtesy of Natural Balance. Fans will also have the chance to meet many of the animals currently available for adoption at the OC Animal Care Center. All proceeds benefit the Angels Baseball Foundation and local Orange County animal shelters.
↵There are a finite number of “Mystery Bags,” so there is a limit that each person can buy. With the co-sponsor, I would think eight is enough, but the limit is in fact three bags per person.
