Ted Lilly To Start Tuesday For Dodgers; Ryan Theriot Will Play Second Base Everyday

On the Dodgers radio pregame show on KABC, Josh Suchon reported that Ted Lilly would make his Dodger debut Tuesday night in a start against the Padres. Lilly last started Tuesday, so he will be pitching on six days rest.

Suchon also reported that manager Joe Torre said new acquisition Ryan Theriot will be the everyday second baseman. Theriot has made 62 starts at second base this season, as well as 28 starts at shortstop. In his career, Theriot has started 115 games at second base.
