Before tonight’s game in Arizona, the Dodgers made a pair of roster moves. They officially placed Manny Ramirez on the disabled list, and recalled Xavier Paul to take his place.
In addition, the Dodgers optioned struggling reliever Ramon Troncoso to Triple A Albuquerque, and recalled reliever Travis Schlichting. Troncoso had a 5.15 ERA this season in 39 games. He appeared in 14 games in a 21-day stretch in April, never with more than one day of rest in between appearances. Since then, Troncoso has a 5.92 ERA and has allowed five home runs in 24 2/3 innings, more than he allowed all of last season.
