The Clippers are close to rounding out their roster, as they have reportedly re-signed guard/forward Rasual Butler. Per Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times:
Butler’s deal with the Clippers is for one season and comes as something of a surprise.
He averaged 11.9 points last season and often struggled to find a sustained measure of consistency.
Butler started 64 games for the Clippers last season. Dillman reported the deal was signed Saturday, although it hasn’t yet been announced by the club. Butler tweeted on Friday that the Clippers were among his strongest suitors:
Thank u too all those who support me and appreciate my game! Thank so much! Clipnation def is an option because I love my teammates and fans
The Clippers now have 12 signed players on their roster.
