St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) – Yadier Molina belted a two-run homer and drove in four runs as St. Louis again used an offensive display to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, this time by an 8-4 count at Busch Stadium.
Tyler Greene and Matt Holliday each had two hits and a run scored for the Cardinals, who won 7-1 in the opener of this four-game series Thursday night. St. Louis a 19-4 home mark in the last 23 regular season games against the Dodgers.
Randy Winn added a pair of hits, including a two-run triple, in St. Louis’ third consecutive victory.
