College Football Rankings: USC Still On Outside Looking In At AP Poll Top 25

After yet another wild, down-to-the-wire game in the Pac-10, the USC Trojans remain on the outside looking in at the Associated Press poll top 25. The Trojans' 34-33 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils last night wasn't enough to vault USC from number 30 into the AP top 25.

USC fell 23 votes shy of making the AP top 25, settling in at 26, in the "others receiving votes section. Here is the AP top 10:

  1. Oregon
  2. Auburn
  3. TCU
  4. Boise St
  5. LSU
  6. Wisconsin
  7. Stanford
  8. Ohio St
  9. Nebraska
  10. Michigan St

Arizona is the third Pac-10 team in the top 25, checking in at number 18 after their loss to Stanford.

The Associated Press poll is the only poll USC is eligible for this season. USC began the season ranked 14th, but has been out of the AP top 25 in five of the 11 polls this year. Here is their week-by-week ranking:
