College Football Rankings, Week 14: Stanford Climbs, Oregon Remains On Top

The latest college football polls are out today, and the Stanford Cardinal moved up three spots to No. 5 in the latest USA Today coaches poll. The Oregon Ducks remained as the top-ranked team, but lost a pair of first-place votes. Both Boise State and LSU dropped after losses. Here is the new USA Today coaches poll top 25:

  16. South Carolina
  17. Nevada
  18. Texas A&M
  19. Alabama
  20. Florida St
  21. Utah
  22. Mississippi State
  23. Northern Illinois
  24. West Virginia
  25. UCF

Arizona, which was ranked No. 20 in last week's coaches poll, dropped out of the top 25 after their loss to Oregon on Friday night. The Wildcats got 47 points, and are technically ranked 26th, 15 points behind UCF. This is the first time since in 12 weeks that the Pac-10 has only had two teams in the coaches poll top 25.
