After a pair of losses by top ten teams this weekend, there has been movement near the top of the latest college football polls. Much like the USA Today coaches poll, the Stanford Cardinal have moved up to No. 5 in the latest Associated Press poll. The Oregon Ducks remain on top, albeit with one fewer first place vote than last week. Here is the new AP poll top 25:
-
Oregon (36 first place votes)
- Auburn (23)
- TCU (1)
- Wisconsin
- Stanford
- Ohio State
- Michigan State
- Arkansas
- Boise State
- Oklahoma

- Virginia Tech
- Nebraska
- Nevada
- Missouri
- Oklahoma State
- Alabama
- South Carolina
- Texas A&M
- Florida St

Arizona, which ranked 20th last week, dropped into the "others receiving votes" section, the only other Pac-10 team mentioned anywhere in the poll. The Wildcats are ranked 26th. The USC Trojans were ranked 29th last week, but dropped out after their 20-16 loss to Notre Dame.
