College Football Rankings, Week 13: USC Can Say Goodbye To Top 25

The college football polls won't be released until Sunday morning, but the USC Trojans are a lock to fall out of the Associated Press top 25 after their 36-7 blowout loss in Corvalis against Oregon State on Saturday night. In last week's AP poll, the Trojans were ranked number 20, but with a 29-point loss they will be lucky to get a single vote in Sunday's AP poll. The Trojans are ineligible for the USA Today coaches and Harris polls.

Expect little change in the top seven of the AP poll, as all teams either won or had a bye week. The No. 8 Nebraska Cornhuskers, however, lost 9-6 to Texas A&M on Saturday night. Expect Stanford, which was ranked ninth last week, to move up after its blowout of Cal. Here was last week's AP top 10:

  1. Oregon (46 first place votes)
  2. Auburn (6)
  3. Boise State (5)
  4. TCU (2)
  5. Wisconsin
  6. LSU
  7. Ohio State
  8. Nebraska
  9. Stanford
  10. Oklahoma State

Arizona was ranked number 23 last week in the AP poll, and they had a bye week this week, so expect them to remain in the top 25, giving the Pac-10 three ranked teams in the AP poll.
