Teemu Selanne Day-To-Day; Sexton, McMillan Recalled From Syracuse

Teemu Selanne injured his groin in Anaheim's loss last night to Columbus, and as a result might miss Sunday's game against Edmonton Oilers. The team announced Selanne is listed as day-to-day. In addition, the Ducks have recalled right wing Dan Sexton and left wing Brandon McMillan from the Syracuse Crunch today, assigning right wing Kyle Palmieri to Syracuse, the club announced today.

Selanne, who turned 40 years old in July, has scored 22 points (eight goals, 14 assists) in 22 games this season. If he misses Sunday's game, he would get a full six days off, as the Ducks don't play again until Friday night.

Sexton, who missed several games with a broken nose earlier this season while with the Ducks, played in seven games with Anaheim earlier this season. Sexton had two goals and three assists in four games with the Crunch.

McMillan, who was drafted in the third round of the 2008 draft, had four goals and two assists in 16 games for Syracuse this season. The 20-year old has yet to make his major league debut. Palmieri scored one goal in 10 games with the Ducks this year. The 19-year old Palmieri has seven goals and two assists with Syracuse this season.
