Clippers Head To Sacramento For Second Preseason Affair

The Los Angeles Clippers play their second preseason game tonight, another road contest against the Sacramento, knowing it can only get better than their 29-point opening loss in Portland Tuesday night.

The Clippers lost three of four games to the Kings last season, including losing both games in Sacramento. In the preseason, the Clippers are 6-10 against the Kings. The last time the two clubs met in the preseason, the Clippers won 92-90 in 2007.

Per Steve Perrin at Clips Nation:

As for Eric Gordon (who sat out Tuesday's game just to get some rest after a busy summer playing in the World Championships) and Baron Davis: "Del Negro said Gordon might get some minutes against Sacramento, but he wasn't so sure that Davis would play Thursday night." So this sounds like the perfect game to watch if you're a big Duke or Kutztown U fan, since Jon Scheyer and Stephen Dennis figure to get plenty of opportunity. Oh, and there's another game tomorrow night.

The Clippers play at Golden State tomorrow night, their first back-to-back effort of the preseason.

Tonight's game from Arco Arena is not on television, but can be heard on radio on KFWB 980. Game time is 7 p.m. PDT.
