NFL Week 8 Schedule: Will Brett Favre Play?

Los Angeles may not have an NFL team, but that doesn't mean pro football isn't popular here. One of the most impressive feats in sports history, Brett Favre's consecutive start streak might come to an end today (or sometime soon). Here's a look at today's television schedule of NFL games:

↵

10 a.m.: Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys (CBS)

↵

The Jon Kitna era begins in Dallas, as the Cowboys look to avoid going 1-6, against the Jaguars, who have given up the most points in football.

↵

10 a.m.: Green Bay Packers at New York Jets (Fox)

↵

Both teams are tied for the lead in their respective divisions, but the 5-1 Jets are six and a half point favorites over the Packers.

↵

1 p.m.: Minnesota Vikings at New England Patriots (Fox)

↵

Brett Favre and his amazing streak of 291 consecutive starts is in jeopardy, as Randy Moss faces his old team in New England. This is a must-win game for the 2-4 Vikings, who are 0-3 on the road.

↵

5 p.m.: Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints (NBC)

↵

The Steelers have given up the fewest points in the league, and face the high-powered Saints' attack. In New Orleans on Halloween, expect there to be some creative costumes in the crowd.
