Clippers Host Sacramento Kings In Final Preseason Contest

The Los Angeles Clippers end their preseason schedule tonight with a game at Staples Center against the Sacramento Kings.

The Clippers, who are 1-6 this preseason, got their only win of the exhibition season on October 7 in Sacramento, beating the Kings 120-88. The Clippers are 7-10 all-time in preseason matchups with the Kings. Sacramento won three of four regular season games against the Clippers last season, but Los Angeles is 48-41 at home against the Kings in their franchise history.

On Sunday, the Clippers lost their fifth straight preseason game, 108-104 to the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers committed 23 turnovers in the loss, and amassed just 11 free throw attempts compared to 35 for Denver. Brian Cook led all scorers with 28 points, on 10-of-18 shooting. Blake Griffin sat out as a precaution after spraining his left ankle on Saturday against the Utah Jazz.

The Kings last played six days ago, losing 98-95 to the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas.

Tonight's game, a 7:30 p.m. PDT tipoff, will be televised on Prime Ticket.
