The Trojans star wide receivers has had no shortage of jaw-dropping plays on the 2012 season, and he's racking up impressive numbers in the process.
USC Trojans wide receiver Marqise Lee is making quite a case for the Heisman Trophy, and he's doing it with jaw-dropping plays like these from the Trojans 38-17 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils last Saturday.
Lee has been stellar for the Trojans (7-3, 5-3, Pac-12) this season, leading the nation in receptions (98) and receiving yards (1777). The sophomore is also ranked No. 2 nationally in all-purpose yards with 2,234 and has been turning heads with his big play ability. He has notched 10 plays of 70-plus yards (the best in the nation), 10 plays of 50-plus yards and 14 plays of 40-plus yards (also the best in the nation.
The No. 18 Trojans will need some more big plays when they face the No. 17 UCLA Bruins (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) on Saturday for the Victory Bell, the Pac-12 South division title and a berth in the Pac-12 Championship game. Kickoff at the Rose Bowl is slated for 12:05 p.m. and the game will be televised on FOX.
