Colorado vs. USC score update: Trojans enter halftime leading 33-6

Stay connected for news and updates

The USC Trojans dominated the first two quarters of play against the Colorado Buffaloes and now enter halftime with a 33-6 lead at home.

The Trojans jumped on the Buffaloes early in the game after quarterback Matt Barkley connected with wide receiver Marqise Lee for 55 yards and a score on the second play of the game. It was a sign of things to come, as the Trojans scored touchdowns on almost every one of their drives in the first half.

While Colorado has struggled mightily on defense, the offense has been unable to put the ball in the end zone and have only succeeded between the 20-yard lines. So far, Colorado's only points have come from the leg of kicker Will Oliver, who has made a pair of field goals for the Buffaloes.

Barkley enjoyed a field day in the first half, completing 16 of 17 passes for 269 yards and five touchdowns.
