USC basketball to hold open practice Saturday

Trojans hoops fans can get glimpse of the men's basketball team in action when USC holds an open practice on Oct. 20.

The USC men's basketball team will give Trojans hoops fans a look at what's to come in 2012-13 as the team will hold a pair of open practices, the first of which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Galen Center.

The Trojans, who began practices for the upcoming season on Oct. 12, will open the Galen Center from 12:15-3 p.m. PT for fans to stop by on their way to the USC football game against Colorado at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

On Oct. 28, the Trojans men's and women's squads will host the Salute to Troy and Fanfest at the Galen Center followed by intrasquad scrimmages and team introductions. The Salute To Troy is slated to begin at noon in the Centofante Hall of Fame room at the Galen Center and will feature games, prizes, posters and giveaways. That will be followed by men's and women's team intrasquad scrimmages at 1 p.m. on the Galen Center court.

Parking for the events will be available for $10 at Parking Structure 2 and Gate 3.
