USC Vs. Arizona Final Score And Recap: Trojans Lose Fifth Straight, 57-46

The shooting woes continued on Sunday afternoon for the USC Trojans, who fell 57-46 to the Arizona Wildcats at Galen Center for their fifth straight loss. The Trojans have lost eight of their last nine games, and fell to 3-7 at home on the season. USC (5-12, 0-4) remains winless in Pac-12 Conference play.

The Trojans shot just 29.3% from the field on Sunday, a new season low. It was the eight time in their last nine games USC has shot under 40% and the 10th time in 17 games this season. During their last nine games, the Trojans have shot 36.1% from the field and have averaged just 51.2 points per game during that span.

Maurice Jones led USC with 14 points, but he struggled from the field, making just three of 13 shots. Dewayne Dedmon added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Trojans. Aaron Fuller had one point and two rebounds for USC in 11 minutes, but didn't play in the second half because of a "lingering shoulder injury," per Michael Lev of the Orange County Register.

Both teams struggled from distance in the game, as USC made just one of 15 three-point shots (6.7%) and Arizona made only two of 15 from beyond the arc (13.3%).

Jesse Perry had 20 points to lead the Wildcats (11-5, 2-1), who shot 43.8% from the field. Solomon Hill added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats. Arizona had several chances to blow the game wide open, and led by as many as 20 points late in the first half, but the Wildcats shot themselves in the foot with 17 turnovers in the contest.

USC has a week off before hosting the UCLA Bruins next Sunday at Galen Center.
