Matt Barkley threw for a school record six touchdowns on Friday night as the USC Trojans beat the Colorado Buffaloes 42-17 at Folsom Field in Boulder. At 7-2, USC moved to their highest college football ranking of the season in the Associated Press poll, checking in at No. 18. The Trojans were ranked No. 21 in last week's AP poll. This is the fifth week this season the Trojans have been in the AP top 25.

No. 3 Stanford takes on No. 6 Oregon in Palo Alto next week. The Arizona St. Sun Devils dropped out of the top 25 from No. 20 after losing 29-28 to the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night.
