This weekend's cross-town rivalry showdown between the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans brings an interesting dynamic. For the Trojans, they just knocked off a highly ranked foe in Oregon and, despite not being eligible for the conference championship game, are looking like the best team in the Pac-12.

For the Bruins, while they have claimed a spot in the championship game, they could still be bowl ineligible if they lose their next two games. A win over USC would be huge and would give them a lot of momentum as the team prepares for either Oregon or Stanford.
