USC Vs. Stanford: Curtis McNeal 61-Yard Touchdown Gives Trojans 13-10 Lead; Stanford Trails For First TIme All Season

At the very least, the USC Trojans have done something no other team has done this season. They have a lead on the Stanford Cardinal. Curtis McNeal took a handoff from Matt Barkley, ran to the outside then ran 61 yards to the end zone, giving the Trojans a 13-10 lead with 13:54 left in the third quarter at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Take a look at the run; McNeal was freed by a pair of key blocks, one by lineman Matt Kalil and another by wide receiver Robert Woods.

McNeal only had three yards on five carries on the night before his touchdown run, as the Trojans have been primarily passing the ball with both Marc Tyler and George Farmer out. The Coliseum is as loud as it has been in a few years tonight, especially with the Trojans having a chance to snap Stanford's 15-game winning streak, the longest in the nation.
