2011 Senior Bowl: USC, UCLA Players To Watch

With two weeks between the NFL conference championship games and Super Bowl XLV, this weekend has a gaping hole in football coverage. If the Pro Bowl doesn't float your boat, perhaps the 2011 Senior Bowl will help quench your football thirst. A pair of football players from both USC and UCLA adorn the rosters of the Senior Bowl, which will take place Saturday afternoon in Mobile, Alabama.

The game, which calls itself "the nation’s most unique football game and football’s premier pre-draft event, annually featuring the country’s best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams," will be played at 1 p.m. PST on Saturday, and be televised by the NFL Network.

Here are the players from USC and UCLA who will take part in the Senior Bowl:

South Roster

OL--Kristofer O'Dowd, USC: The center made 36 career starts at USC

CB--Shareece Wright, USC: The defensive back didn't have an interception this season, but had two and a half sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a blocked field goal.

North Roster

PK--Kai Forbath, UCLA: Forbath tied John Lee's school and Pac-10 record with 85 career field goals made, and made 49 of his last 54 tries from inside 50 yards.

Long Snapper--Christian Yount, UCLA: I don't have anything valuable to add about a long snapper.
