The latest college football polls are out today, and the Pac-10 continues to have three teams ranked by the USA Today coaches poll. Oregon and Stanford were able to strengthen their top ten positions, as Oregon gained two first place votes from last week, and Stanford moved up from ninth to eighth. Here are is the new USA Today coaches poll top 25:
-
Oregon (48 first place votes)
- Auburn (4)
- Boise State (5)
- TCU (2)
- Wisconsin
- LSU
- Ohio State
- Stanford
- Oklahoma State
- Michigan State
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Oklahoma
- Virginia Tech
- Nebraska
- Missouri
- South Carolina
- Texas A&M
- Nevada
- Arizona
- Florida St
- Utah
- North Carolina St
- Iowa
- Mississippi State
Nebraska moved down from eighth to 15th after their 9-6 loss to Texas A&M. Arizona, which had a bye this week, moved up from 23rd to 20th. These three teams are the only teams in the Pac-10 currently bowl eligible, and it appears they might only be joined by one other team, as California or maybe Washington may join them. However, if both Oregon and Stanford win out, there is a decent chance the conference will have two teams in BCS bowls for just the third time in 13 seasons.
