Jarrett was pulled over on Interstate 77 in Charlotte for speeding shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spokesman Bob Fey said. Fey said Jarrett declined to take a breath test to determine his blood-alcohol content and results of the ensuing blood test won't be known for several weeks.↵
Jarrett, now with the Carolina Panthers in the NFL, is due in court Wednesday afternoon. He was also arrested on a DWI charge in 2008. Jarrett, who set a Trojans and Pac-10 record with 41 career touchdown catches while in college, has caught just one touchdown pass in his pro career, meaning in Carolina he has more DWI arrests than TD catches.
