Stay connected for news and updates

The UCLA Bruins trail the Oregon State Beavers, 17-10, at halftime at the Rose Bowl.. After spending much of the first half punting or running for little gain, Brett Hundley connected with Shaquelle Evans for a 75-yard touchdown pass.

Until scoring with less than two minutes left in the half, the Bruins had punted on six of their seven drives. Brett Hundley is 10-for-15 for 152 yards, and only 87 yards if you discount the final throw. Johnathan Franklin hasn't been able to get anything going on the ground, collecting 15 yards on eight rushes.

Oregon State's offense is fairing quite a bit better. Quarterback Sean Mannion is 15-for-22 for 278 yards, with wide receivers Markus Wheaton and Brandin Cooks both having more than 100 yards receiving. UCLA's front seven has handled OSU's running game fairly well, limiting Storm Woods to 31 yards.
