The UCLA Bruins will have two huge non-conference matchups against the Missouri Tigers and the Texas Longhorns.

The UCLA Bruins basketball team have two marquee matchups in their non-conference matchup. One will come on a grand stage: The Texas Longhorns in Reliant Stadium in Houston. Mark Berman of My Fox Houston files this report (HT Bruins Nation).

The University of Texas men's basketball team will meet UCLA on Dec. 8 at Reliant Stadium.

The game will be the centerpiece of a basketball weekend at Reliant Park.

The UT/UCLA game will be part of a college basketball doubleheader.

UCLA will also have another strong Big 12 matchup, this one hosting against Missouri. They will play the Tigers in Pauley Pavilion in 2013 and then head to Columbia in 2014. Those two matchups could go a long way toward boosting UCLA's overall tournament RPI, as well as the Pac-12. UCLA landing some marquee wins (particularly with their lofty preseason status) would really help out the conference.

To talk about the matchup with UCLA basketball fans, head on over to Bruins Nation. Discuss the matchup with UCLA opponents at Burnt Orange Nation (Texas) and Rock M Nation (Missouri).
