The UCLA Bruins look to continue their home success on Thursday night as they host the Stanford Cardinal at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. The Bruins are 10-3 at home this season and have won nine consecutive games as the host.
Travis Wear, the Bruins' second leading scorer (11.8 points per game) and rebounder (5.2 per game) this season, missed Saturday's game at Washington State with a sprained left ankle and will be a game-time decision on Thursday night.
UCLA lost by a point to Stanford at Maples Pavilion, 60-59, in their Pac-12 Conference opener on December 29. Lazeric Jones led the Bruins with 26 points but had his potential game-winning floater blocked by Josh Huestis in the final seconds. Guard Aaron Bright led the Cardinal with 16 points in the win, including four three-point shots.
Bruins center Joshua Smith had 43 points and 14 rebounds in his last two games, and made 17 of his 22 shots from the field (77.3%). Smith had 10 points and six rebounds in the December 29 loss at Maples Pavilion, but fouled out in just 20 minutes.
Stanford (16-7, 6-5) has lost four of their last five games overall and are 1-4 on the road in conference play this season. The Bruins have beaten Stanford in nine of their last 12 meetings overall, and have won each of their last six meetings at home.

UCLA Vs. Stanford Final Score: Lazeric Jones Leads Bruins To 72-61 Win
The UCLA Bruins built a big lead early in the first half, then held on for a 72-61 home win over the Stanford Cardinal on Thursday night at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. It was the 10th straight home win for the Bruins, who have beaten the Cardinal in each of their last seven trips down south.
Lazeric Jones had 21 points and six assists to lead the Bruins (14-10, 7-5), who led by as many as 16 points in the first half. Stanford chipped away at the lead and got as close as three points, with 4:45 remaining. But UCLA pulled away for their second straight win.
Travis Wear withstood a sprained left ankle to score 13 points and grab five rebounds in 28 minutes for UCLA, who shot 51.0% from the field.
Chasson Randle scored 16 points to lead Stanford (16-8, 6-6), who has lost five of their last six games.
UCLA hosts California on Saturday afternoon.
