The Bruins will try to stop the high-powered Bears offense in what could be a high-scoring affair.

The UCLA Bruins and Baylor Bears will face off in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Dec. 27 on ESPN. Monday's line has the Bruins as slight 1.5-point favorites over the Bears in what has the makings for a high-scoring affair.

The Bruins come in at 9-4 while the Bears are 7-5. The Bruins have given up just under 26 points per game this season but the Bears score at a 44.1 points per game clip. They also give up 38.2 points to their opponents, leading to a lot of high-scoring games. Last season, the Bears played the Washington Huskies in one of the most lacking in defense displays in a long time. The Bruins can either stop the Bears from scoring at a ridiculous clip or plan for a shootout with one of the most explosive offenses in the country.

Either way, this should be a good, close game between two teams who want to end their seasons on a high note.
