The city of Los Angeles' college football powerhouses are headed in different directions in the latest BlogPoll Top 25.
The UCLA Bruins made an impressive jump in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25, surging to No. 18, while their crosstown rival USC Trojans dropped to No. 21.
UCLA (7-2, 4-2 Pac-12) jumped seven spots from last week's poll following their impressive 66-10 blowout of the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. The Bruins claimed 6.82 votes per blog and were ranked as high as No. 14 by two blogs. They'll head to Washington State in Week 11 to take on the struggling Cougars at Martin Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on ESPN 2.
USC (6-3, 4-3 Pac-12) slid down three spots in this week's poll after a tough 62-51 loss to the No. 2 Oregon Ducks in Week 10. The Trojans, who received 4.41 votes per blog will play host to Arizona State on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for noon PT and the game will be carried by the Pac-12 Network.
