The UCLA Bruins dropped two spots to No. 17 in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25, while the Trojans find themselves on the outside looking in, following a 22-13 loss to No. 1 Notre Dame.
Following their 35-17 loss to the Stanford Cardinal last Saturday, the UCLA Bruins fell two spots to No. 17 in this week's SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25.
The Bruins (9-3, 6-3 Pac-12) received 8.06 votes per blog, were ranked as high as No. 14 by five blogs and ranked as low as No. 25 by two blogs. Jim Mora's squad will get a rematch with the No. 8 Cardinal in Palo Alto this Saturday in the Pac-12 Championship game. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX.
The USC Trojans' regular season ended with a 22-13 loss to the No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish last Saturday. An upset would have been a bright spot at the end of an otherwise-disappointing season, but the Irish defense stifled the Trojans and freshman quarterback Max Wittek.
USC (7-4, 5-4 Pac-12) did not place in this week's BlogPoll Top 25, but did receive three votes. One blog slotted the Trojans at No. 19, another at No. 23 and a third at No. 25.
