The UCLA Bruins could have a short trip to Vegas for their bowl game if CBS Sports' bowl predictions come true.

In CBS Sports' most recent bowl predictions, the UCLA Bruins are predicted to play in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 22 against Nevada.

The Las Vegas Bowl pits the top team in the Mountain West Conference against the fifth-best team in the Pac-12 and the Bruins should be at or near that spot at season's end.

The Bruins defeated the Utah Utes, 21-14, on Oct. 13 and will travel to face Arizona State this week. If the Bruins can knock off the Sun Devils on the road to get to 6-2, winnable games versus Arizona and at Washington State follow before finishing with home games against No. 9 USC and No. 17 Stanford. The Bruins could be looking at an 8-4 season.

The Wolf Pack are 6-2 and have four more games on their schedule including an end-of-season tilt with No. 21 Boise State, which could be for the conference title.
