UCLA Vs. Arizona State Basketball Score Update: UCLA Comes From Behind To Take 33-30 Lead Into Halftime

Stay connected for news and updates

The UCLA Bruins are hosting the Arizona St. Sun Devils at the Honda Center in Anaheim in Pac-12 play. The conference rivals came into the game with UCLA as the healthy 11.5-point favorites. Through most of the first half, however, the Bruins have not quite been playing like double-digit favorites.

The Sun Devils opened a big lead early in the game, but the Bruins were able to get themselves back within six points midway through the first half. With three and a half minutes left in the half, UCLA closed the gap to 30-28.

UCLA clamped down on defense and center Joshua Smith scored on a layup to tie the game while drawing a foul. A free throw later, the Bruins had taken a one-point lead. They managed to hold off the Sun Devils and take a 33-30 lead into halftime.
