"Yo the sun don't shine forever, but as long as it's here then we might as well shine together."
UCLA's football practice became a celebrity affair Wednesday morning when singer/fashion designer Sean "P. Diddy" Combs showed up with his son, UCLA recruit Justin Combs, along with a star-studded entourage.
Chris Foster of the Los Angeles Times with more.
A high-end recruit? No, rapper and music producer Sean "Diddy" Combs.
Justin Combs, his son, is a cornerback from New Rochelle (N.Y.) Iona Prep. He has been offered scholarships by Illinois, Virginia, Wyoming, Middle Tennessee and Alabama-Birmingham.
Combs is a smaller defensive back who hasn't been recruited heavily by any of the big schools--only a few middle-tier Tennessee teams have handed out offers. But a lot of his notoriety is based on who his father is rather than who he is as a player. He might still have some ways to go before a big-time team like UCLA will hand him an offer.
Here are his highlights. Draw your own conclusions.
