The latest NCAA basketball rankings are out, and the UCLA Bruins are making their way closer to the top 25. A sweep of the Oregon schools this weekend gave the Bruins five straight wins, and eight wins in their last nine contests. As a result, UCLA has moved up in the college basketball rankings, tied for 28th in the AP poll, up from 37th last week.
Last week, UCLA received votes in the Associated Press college basketball poll for the first time in 11 weeks. This is their highest ranking of the season, surpassing their previous high of 35th in the AP poll on November 22. Here is the full AP top 25:
The Arizona Wildcats are atop the Pac-10, one game ahead of UCLA, and come in ranked 12th, up from 15th last week, the only conference team in the top 25. The only other Pac-10 team to receive votes in the poll was the Washington Huskies, who swept the Bay Area schools at home last weekend, and are ranked 32nd.

The new college basketball rankings are out, and the UCLA Bruins have moved up in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, just as they did in the Associated Press poll. The Bruins are 18-7, and one game behind the Arizona Wildcats for the Pac-10 conference lead. The Bruins are in the "others receiving votes" section of the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, now tied for 30th. Last week, UCLA was ranked 33rd in the coaches poll. This ties the highest ranking of the season for UCLA, which was also ranked 30th on November 15.

The Arizona Wildcats are the only Pac-10 team in the top 25, ranked 13th, up from 16th last week. The Washington Huskies are the only other team in the conference to receive any votes, ranking 29th. The Bruins travel to face Stanford and Cal this week.
