Reeves Nelson registered 14 points and grabbed eight caroms for UCLA (9-6, 1-2), while Jerime Anderson posted 11 points off the bench. Tyler Honeycutt overcame seven turnovers by chipping in 10 points, and pulling down nine rebounds.
The Bruins shot 57.1 percent from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a slim 30-28 lead.
The Trojans returned the favor in the second stanza, as they shot 52.0 percent from the floor, en route to the 11-point win.
The Trojans posted 20 points off 17 UCLA turnovers, while the Bruins tallied just four points off 11 USC miscues.
