Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: Lakers Confident Magic Center Would Re-sign If Dealt To Los Angeles

Stay connected for news and updates

With Steve Nash joining up with Kobe Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers seem poised for a few more runs at a championship. Landing Dwight Howard could secure L.A.'s future for quite some time, but there continue to be major concerns about whether the superstar will stay with the Lakers beyond the 2013 season. Howard has repeatedly stated that he is unlikely to stick around.

The Lakers appear optimistic that they convince Howard to stick around though. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports files this report.

The big concerns might be about convincing the Orlando Magic that Andrew Bynum would stick around and agree to a contract extension with them, something that he appears to be unwilling to do.

Talk about Howard with Lakers fans at Silver Screen and Roll, and with Magic fans at Orlando Pinstriped Post.
