Lakers Vs. Nuggets Game 1 Video: Steve Blake On Fire In First Quarter

The Los Angeles Lakers got off to a hot start against the Denver Nuggets in the first quarter of Game 1 of their first round NBA playoff series on Sunday, building a 27-14 lead after one quarter. Steve Blake contributed with nine points, hitting three of five shots from beyond the three-point arc.

Blake wasn't the only one who was hot, as a young fan won $6,000 by hitting a free throw and three-pointer in between quarters.

The Lakers are 17-4 all-time against Denver in the playoffs, including 9-2 in Los Angeles. The Lakers have won all five playoff series they have played against Denver. The Lakers are 34-2 in first round series when they have home court advantage.
