The Los Angeles Lakers would certainly like to have Kobe Bryant back in the lineup, but seeing that the Lake Show is taking on the short-handed and absolutely tanking Golden State Warriors Wednesday night, it seems like a good night not to have the Black Mamba push it too far.
Per Mike Bresnahan on Twitter:
Kobe's not playing tonight vs. Golden State, the 7th game he's missed because of a sore left shin. Lakers' next game is Friday at S.A.

Devin Ebanks will get the start at SG in his place.
Head coach Mike Brown spoke about the injury before the game, noting that it's not the time to try and rush Kobe back:
"If (finishing ahead of the Clippers) was our goal, then we'd be trying to rush Kobe back, but the reality of it is, whether we finish first, second, third, fourth, fifth, it doesn't matter," said Brown. "I feel like this team is confident enough and good enough to win on anybody's floor."
