Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will likely sit out again on Sunday when the team hosts the Dallas Mavericks for the fourth time this season.
According to a tweet from the Los Angeles Lakers, coach Mike Brown stated on Saturday that Kobe Bryant did not participate in Saturday's shoot around and he would likely not be playing in Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks at home.
Mike Brown on Kobe Bryant: "He most likely won't play tomorrow." Kobe did not participate in this afternoon's shootaround.
The Lakers will head into their Sunday afternoon game with a 38-22 record and are looking to make a late push for home-court advantage in the playoffs. The Mavericks are 34-26 and are riding a three-game winning streak, but they have been unable to defeat the Lakers this season in three games and the Lakers are 3-1 without Bryant, so their chances of winning still aren't terrible.
