The Los Angeles Lakers look to get back on track Tuesday night as they head to Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena. This is the first of two meetings for the Lakers with the Warriors over the next six days, as the two meet again on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The Lakers have beaten the Warriors in 27 of their last 31 meetings, including a 97-90 victory at Staples Center on January 6. The Lakers had a 12-game winning streak against Golden State before losing in their last trip to Oakland 95-87 on April 6, 2011.

The Lakers are 10-15 on the road this season.

The Warriors have lost six of eight games since trading Monta Ellis for Andrew Bogut. Rookie Klay Thompson, son of Lakers announcer Mychal Thompson, has moved into the starting lineup and has averaged 18.0 points per game in 10 games as a starter.

Ramon Sessions in two starts for the Lakers has averaged 19.0 points and 8.0 assists, and is shooting 55.1% in six games as a Laker, including making seven of 13 shots from three-point range.

Tuesday night's 7:30 p.m. PDT contest will be televised by KCAL.
