The Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Staples Center and looking for their fifth straight win. Thus far, the Lakers are continuing their dominance at home, as they enter halftime ahead by a score of 50-41.
The Lakers have been shooting much better from the floor than have the T-Wolves, nailing 44% of shots as opposed to Minnesota's 37%.
The first Lakers game featuring new acquisition Ramon Sessions is going well. Sessions has played 10 minutes, putting up six points, two assists and two rebounds. Kobe Bryant is once again leading Lakers scorers with 11 points, although the team has been spreading the buckets around. On the Minnesota side, Kevin Love is leading all scorers with 14 points, also managing nine rebounds and a steal. Nikola Pekovic has also added 13 points for the Wolves.
