Lakers vs. Grizzlies Final Score: Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum Lead L.A. To 116-111 Double Overtime Win

The Los Angeles Lakers visited the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Early on, the Lakers played very sloppy basketball and looked like they would be headed to yet another road loss, but they rallied late and forced two overtime periods. A slew of missed Memphis shots in double overtime allowed the Lakers to pick up their third straight win by a final score of 116-111.

The turnover woes for Los Angeles continued into the first overtime, as the Lakers had ample opportunity to either pull away or win outright. The Lakers got the ball in the final seconds and Bryant tried for a fadeaway jumped as time expired. The ball hit the front of the rim and the game headed to a second overtime.

The Grizzlies had plenty of chances to take the lead in the second overtime, but opted instead for a string of missed three-pointers. Bryant went to the line with 38.8 seconds remaining and dropped in both of his free throw attempts to put the Lakers up, 114-111. Memphis missed another pair of three-pointers and Andrew Bynum sank both free throw attempts at 22.4 left to seal the win.

The Lakers had a massive 18 turnovers in the game, but still picked up the win. Bynum led all scorers with 37 points, getting the double-double with 16 rebounds. Bryant put up 34 points, with five rebounds and eight assists.
