Lakers Vs. Grizzlies Score Update: Memphis Leads 52-51 At Halftime

The Los Angeles Lakers are visiting the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Through the first half, both teams are already nearly out of fouls in a hard-fought, back-and-forth affair. Although things have been hectic, the Grizzlies have led for most of the game and the road woes for the Lakers threaten to continue. Through the first half, Memphis leads by a score of 52-51.

The Lakers caught fire late and tied up the game on a pair of Metta World Peace free throws. The Grizzlies went ahead again on a three-pointer, but Kobe Bryant brought the crowd to its feet and the Lakers within one point with a monstrous dunk in the final seconds of the half.

A bit of history has been made in this game, as Derek Fisher has scored his 10,000th career point.

Play has been sloppy on both sides of the ball, but both teams are missing their share of shots. The difference so far is turnovers: the Lakers have turned the ball over 10 times, compared to just three for the Grizzlies.

Andrew Bynum has by far been the most consistent player for Los Angeles in the first half, getting underneath the basket, grabbing rebounds and making baskets. Bynum has 18 points and six rebounds through the first half. On the Memphis side, Marc Gasol has 12 points and seven rebounds.
