Lakers Schedule 2012: Home-And-Home With Phoenix Suns This Weekend

The well-rested Los Angeles Lakers have but one team to focus on for their upcoming weekend schedule. The Lakers, who last played on Tuesday night, an 86-78 home win over the Atlanta Hawks, host the Phoenix Suns on Friday night at Staples Center, then fly to Arizona to battle the Suns at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix on Sunday night.

The Lakers (17-12) have beaten Phoenix three straight times, including a 99-83 win against the Suns on January 10. In that game, the Lakers closed the game with a 16-1 run and were led by Kobe Bryant, who scored an NBA season-high 48 points in the victory.

The Lakers are 12-2 at home this season, and have beaten the Suns two straight times at Staples Center. But the Lakers are just 5-10 on the road this season, though they have won three straight contests in Phoenix. The Suns (12-18) have lost three straight games and four of their last five.

Friday: Suns at Lakers, 7:30 p.m. PST (ESPN, Fox Sports West)

Sunday: Lakers at Suns, 5 p.m. PST (KCAL)
