Lakers Schedule 2012: Josh Smith, Steve Nash On The Docket This Week

The Los Angeles Lakers survived their Grammy road trip, splitting six games over the last 10 days, and now get to return home to Staples Center. The Lakers have a relatively light schedule this week with three games on the docket, hosting the Atlanta Hawks, then a home-and-home with Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. Here is a look at the schedule ahead for the purple and gold (all times PST):

Tuesday - Atlanta Hawks (18-10) at Lakers (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports West): Josh Smith is playing wonderfully for the Hawks, averaging 15.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game. Atlanta is 9-5 on the road this season, though the Lakers have beaten the Hawks five straight times in Los Angeles.
